    Få tid til familien

    Familien skal have hygge og oplevelser og være en naturlig del af IDAs lokale netværk, siger Familielisten, der vil gøre det lettere at kombinere karriere med familieliv.

    IDAs medlemmer arbejder meget, og de fleste elsker det. Men det er svært at have en familie ved siden af et krævende ingeniørjob, og derfor skal IDA hjælpe medlemmerne med deres ‘work-life-balance’. Det kan ske ved sociale arrangementer, der også involverer IDA-medlemmernes familier. Sådan kan netværk og faglig udveksling gå hånd i hånd med fælles oplevelser og familieliv. IDAs lokalafdelinger er foreningens base, og de fleste initiativer skal udgå herfra, anfører Familielisten. Listen ser netværksdannelse som værende essentielt.

    Historik

    Familielisten opstod som en selvstændig liste omkring år 2000 i IDA Vestjylland. Siden indførte lokalafdelingen biografture, teaterarrangementer og andre sociale familiearrangementer efter Familielistens program, hvilket gav en stor medlemsfremgang. På landsplan stiller omkring 18 kandidater op for denne liste.

    Familielisten har to medlemmer i IDAs repræsentantskab og ønsker at være repræsenteret i alle regioner. Det lokale, frivillige arbejde er centralt i IDA, og de frivillige skal styrkes og understøttes af foreningen. Lokale netværk giver trivsel for medlemmerne og deres familier.

    Vision

    IDA skal gå forrest på klimavenlig dagsorden. Mindre forurening giver øget livskvalitet for alle i samfundet. Eksempelvis kan IDAs medlemsbutik stille elbiler og elcykler til rådighed for medlemmerne.

    -IDA skal påvirke landspolitikken, så det bliver lettere at kombinere karriere og familieliv. Eksempelvis gør trafikpropper og manglende fremkommelighed hverdagen sur for mange IDA-medlemmer og deres familier – dette skal løses.

    Alle virksomheder skal have en Livsfasepolitik, der sikrer fleksible arbejdsvilkår gennem hele arbejdslivet. Eksempelvis skal der indføres obligatoriske livsfasesamtaler i kombination med medarbejderudviklingssamtalerne i alle danske virksomheder.

    Time for your family!

    A family should enjoy fun experiences and be a natural part of IDA's local network, says The Family List, who wants to make it easier to combine your career with family life.

    IDA's members work a lot and most of them love it. But it’s difficult to have a family as well as a demanding engineering job, and that’s why IDA should help members with their work-life balance. This can be done through social events that involve the IDA members' families. This is how networking and professional development can go hand in hand with shared experiences and family life. IDA's local departments are the union's base, and most initiatives should come from them, says The Family List. The list sees networking as essential.

    Key issues
    - IDA must continue to be based on volunteer work, and the politicians’ pay must be abandoned.

    - Avoid pampering. IDA's policies must be pursued for the sake of its members, not politicians.

    - The membership fee must remain at its current level.

    - Create more events for the whole family. It should not be taboo to care for those closest to IDA’s members.

    - The Family List supports Vision 2025.

    - As part of the agreement, all companies must implement life phase policies.

     

    History
    The Family List was created as an independent list around the year 2000 in IDA West Jutland. Since then, the local department introduced cinema tours, theater events and other social family events via the Family List program, which resulted in a large membership increase. At a national level, about 18 candidates are running as part of the list.

    Who
    The Family List has two members in IDA's Board of Representatives and wishes to be represented in all regions. The local volunteer work is central to IDA, and the volunteers need to be strengthened and supported by the union. Local networks provide well-being for members and their families

    Vision
    IDA should take the lead on implementing a climate-friendly agenda. Less pollution increases the quality of life for everyone in society. For example, IDA's member store can make electric cars and electric bikes available to members.

    - IDA must influence national policies in making it easier to combine a career and family life. For example, traffic jams and lack of movability make everyday life difficult for many IDA members and their families - this has to be solved.

    -All businesses should have a life phase policy that ensures flexible working conditions throughout the working life. For example, compulsory life-phase interviews should be introduced as part of employee development interviews in all Danish companies.
