Message

IDA must be rejuvenated and young engineers and MScs must get more influence. IDA should ease the transition from studying to getting the first job and IDA must ensure that members are getting their skills maintained throughout their work life.

Program

Ungdom skaber fornyelse

IDA skal på foryngelseskur, og de unge ingeniører og cand.scient.er skal have mere indflydelse, lyder det fra Yngrelisten. Listen vil gøre det lettere for nyuddannede at gå fra studie til første job.

IDA skal forblive en levende forening, der griber fremtiden via sine medlemmers faglige viden. Derfor skal IDA konstant forynges, og de unge skal melde sig ind, allerede inden de er færdiguddannede. Yngrelisten mener, at IDA skal tage nye midler i brug for at hjælpe nye dimittender med at finde job og skabe sig et netværk. Desuden skal medlemmerne tilbydes kompetenceudvikling livet igennem.

Ifølge listen bør yngre medlemmer – ingeniører såvel som naturvidenskabeligt uddannede – stemme ungt for at sikre deres aldersgruppe den demokratiske indflydelse, de har krav på.

Mærkesager

-Flere unge IDA-medlemmer skal være politisk aktive. Sådan sikrer vi fornyelsen af foreningen.

-IDA skal hjælpe nyuddannede med at få job. Det kan bl.a. ske via en medlem til medlems-app, der matcher dimittenderne med fastansatte IDA-medlemmer i lokalområdet.

-Cand.scient.er i IDA skal have mere indflydelse og høres i demokratiske institutioner, herunder repræsentantskab og hovedbestyrelse.

Historik

Yngrelisten blev til, fordi de ældre medlemmer var overrepræsenteret i IDA. Igennem flere valgperioder er det lykkedes at præge foreningen, men de ældre har stadig flere mandater, end medlemstallet berettiger til. Yngrelisten har stor erfaring inden for det politiske arbejde og er bredt repræsenteret over hele landet.

Hvem

Yngrelistens kandidater viger pladsen, når de bliver ældre eller har siddet i flere perioder. Derved sikrer listen fornyelse i repræsentantskab og udvalg. De fleste kandidater er i slutningen af 20’erne eller starten af 30’erne.

Vision

Gør IDA mere digitalt. Apps, arrangementskalender og andet skal ikke blot gøres tilgængeligt på telefon og net, det skal også være i verdensklasse i forhold til indhold og brugervenlighed! 

Målret IDAs tilbud, så de passer bedre til medlemmernes uddannelsesretning. Herunder skal cand.scient.er inkluderes mere så de sikres fagrelevante aktiviteter.

Styrk mangfoldigheden. Udenlandske ingeniører ansat i danske virksomheder skal inviteres ind i foreningen og opleve relevante tilbud i IDA.

Bedre uddannelse og forskning på det teknisk-naturvidenskabelige område i Danmark. IDA skal påvirke den nationale dagsorden, så vores faglighed bliver styrket på sigt.

Youth generates renewal!

IDA must be rejuvenated and young engineers and MScs need more influence, says the List of the Younger, aka. the Younglings. The Younglings want to make it easier for new graduates to transition from studying to getting their first job.

IDA must remain a living organization that seizes the future through its members' professional knowledge. Therefore, IDA must be constantly rejuvenated and the young people should join the association as soon as they start studying. The Younglings believes that IDA should explore new means to help new graduates find jobs and explanding their network. In addition, members should be offered competence development throughout their lives.

The Younglings believe that younger members - engineers as well as the scientifically educated - should vote for younger candidates to ensure that their age group receives the democratic influence they are entitled to.

Key issues

- More young IDA members should be politically active. This is how we ensure the renewal and rejuvenation of the association.

- IDA must help newly graduated members in securing their first jobs. This could happen via a member-to- member app that matches graduates with tenured IDA members in their local area.

- IDA’s MScs, cand.scienter, should have more influence and must be heard in all democratic institutions, including the Board of Representatives and the Executive board.

 

 

 

History
The Younglings was founded because older members were over-represented in IDA. During several electoral periods, we have succeeded in gaining influence, but older members still have more mandates than their numbers justify. The Younglings has extensive experience in the political work and is widely represented throughout the country.

Who
The Younglings’ candidates step aside when they get older or have been elected for more than one term. In this way, the list ensures renewal in the Board of Representatives, the Executive Board and the committees. Most candidates are in their late 20s or early 30s.

 

Vision
Make IDA more digitally apt. Apps, event calendars and other things should be made available via phone and internet as well as offering users a first class  experience.

Target IDA's services and offerings to better fit the members' educations. This includes MScs, who must be included more to ensure that activities are relevant to their profession.

Strengthen the diversity. International engineers employed by Danish companies must be invited into the association and experience that IDA offers interesting and valuable events and services.

Better education and research in the field of science and technology in Denmark. IDA must influence the national agenda so that our professionalism is strengthened and secured for the future.
